Dobrodošli - Collective Agreements fit for Europe

Project partnership with Austrian GPA-djp – end of project and final results

The project, initiated by the Community of Interests (Interessengemeinschaft) work@professional, supported by the European Union funds, compiled by Gewerkschaft der Privatangestellten, Druck, Journalismus, Papier (GPA-djp) together with partner trade unions OS Projekt from Czech Republic, Solidarność from Poland, ÉSZT from Hungary and EUROCADRES - the Council of European professional and Managerial Staff - worked out the ways and measures which bring more clarity and fairness into cross border mobility:

- enlarging the mobility advisors’ competences

- making the national collective agreement systems more compatible

- sharpening European tools as the European Qualification Framework and the Transparency Directive.

The concerned people, advisory trade unions and worker’s councils who control new work contracts can contribute together to avert the hazard of unfair categorisation, payments under collective agreement levels or wage dumping.

In this way we want to contribute to a fair open European labour market, where the chances of diversity of professional competences are exerted. Further information: www.gpa-djp.at/dobrodosli.
