If your profession is not regulated, you should submit your diploma to the Portuguese Embassy in your own country before leaving, or ask the Embassy to tell you which University in Portugal should do the evaluation of the qualifications.

Those who do not have a university diploma for the job applied for in Portugal need to make an application to the Employment Department for recognition of their right to work under the regulations applying to the job in question.
