When you move to Ireland, you should bring the following things with you:

• Details of qualifications obtained
• CV and references
• Records of social security contributions
• If you have children, bring Birth Certificates; School reports and school references
• Drivers’ licence & Insurance: EU drivers licenses are recognised in Ireland, there is no need to change or register them. If you need an Irish license, contact the Motor Taxation Office, Chancery Street, Dublin 1. You will need insurance, which is expensive in Ireland. Contact the major motor insurance company: AXA/PMPA, Wolfe Tone Street, Dublin 1.
• Marriage/Divorce Certificates.
