If you intend to stay in Ireland for more than three months, you must apply for a residence permit within three months of your arrival in the State.

The application will be processed by the registration office of the registration district in which you are a resident.

In Dublin: the Aliens Registration Office.

Outside Dublin: the local Garda Síochána District.
